Our Approach
Support should work around you.
Good support begins by understanding the person, not by fitting them into a standard service model.
Four commitments
- We listen first.
- Before deciding what support should look like, we take time to understand your goals, routines, preferences, communication needs and what matters to you.
- We respect choice.
- You should have a genuine say in how your support is delivered. We work with you, and with family, carers or other people you choose to involve, while keeping your preferences at the centre.
- We show up.
- Reliability is part of quality support. We aim to communicate clearly, keep agreed commitments and address problems rather than allowing them to become part of the routine.
- We stay flexible.
- Support times are arranged according to each participant's needs, our capacity and the agreed Service Agreement.
How support begins
- 01
Tell us what you’re looking for.
- 02
We listen and clarify what matters.
- 03
We agree the support arrangement, responsibilities and practical details.
- 04
Complete onboarding and service agreement requirements.
- 05
Support begins, with review and communication as needs change.
Working with families and carers
Family members, carers, advocates and other supporters can be involved when the participant wants them involved. The participant’s rights, preferences, consent and privacy remain central.
